Chesterfield Operatic Society were delighted to be asked to perform at Chesterfield Bowling Club's Ladies Night.
Their annual event took place on Saturday 22nd October at the Proact Stadium. It was well attended and the guests seemed to enjoy our musical medleys and solos from members of the society.
We had two forty-five minute sets, which we crammed in many songs from Rogers and Hammerstein, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, Les Miserables and not to forget Anything Goes! It was commented on how nice it was to hear different members of the society sing solos. Such as, Kelly Wallhead who beautifully sang 'There Are Worse Things I Could Do' from Grease and Nic Crossley who performed a exciting rendition of 'Somewhere That's Green' from Little Shop of Horrors.
We hope to see some of the Bowling Club again at our upcoming production of Anything Goes.
(Please note this photo is from another concert as we unfortunately didn't get the opportunity to take one at the event)
